Rugby Development Officer

RUGBY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Mark Wood is Kendal RUFC's Rugby Development Officer.

The role of the Development Officer will be to provide continuity and promote rugby within the local community, including special needs and secondary schools.

Mark will work closely with the Director of Rugby Chris Hayton and Chairman of Youth Rugby, Nigel Pearson to provide the link between the youth of the local community and the club.

Kendal runs currently 3 open age teams for all levels of ability, and also has a thriving junior section.

IN DEEPEST SYMPATHY



JOHN W SMITH

It is with great regret that we announce the death of the Sedgley Park President, John Smith.

John was a good friend to Kendal RUFC and often visited the club on match days from his 2 hotels in the Langdales, the Britannia Inn at Elterwater and the New Dungeon Ghyll.

Sadly, and much before his time, John passed away on Sunday 29th August after spending about 10 days in hospital.

Our deepest condolences to Joan and all the family
